About Niramay Clinics
Niramay Clinics is a family-run specialist practice in Nagpur for diabetes, heart and metabolic care, and child and adolescent health.
What "Niramay" means
"Niramay" comes from the Sanskrit word for "free from illness". A prayer on our waiting-room wall says Sarve bhavantu sukhinah, sarve santu niramayah: may everyone be happy, may everyone be free from illness. We cannot promise anyone a life without illness. We can help people find problems early, manage long-term conditions well, and raise children who grow up healthy and confident. That is the work this practice was built for.
Who we are
Niramay Clinics is a specialist outpatient practice in Dhantoli, Nagpur, run by two doctors.
- Dr. Ajay V. Kaduskar leads the Niramay Diabetes and Heart Care Centre. He treats adults with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, diabetes in pregnancy, obesity, thyroid disorders, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, with a focus on preventing complications and protecting the heart.
- Dr. Prajakta A. Kaduskar leads the Blooming Buds Child and Adolescent Care Centre. She looks after babies, children and teenagers, combining paediatric training with a postgraduate qualification in adolescent paediatrics and a master's degree in clinical psychology.
The practice has been caring for Nagpur since 2006. Between them the doctors have more than 35 years of clinical experience. Dr. Ajay does not tie patients to any one hospital. Where a patient is admitted depends on where they live and the care they need.
Our mission
For adults with diabetes and metabolic conditions: to provide complete, long-term care for diabetes and related metabolic diseases, so that complications are prevented or found early.
For children and adolescents: to help young people and their families achieve good physical, emotional and mental health through evidence-based care, counselling, education and prevention.

The people you will meet
Our front desk and nursing team register you, check your weight and blood pressure, and guide you through tests. Our laboratory team collects samples at the clinic and at home. Our trained nutrition team works with patients on diet plans.
Community work
Dr. Prajakta Kaduskar conducts health and life-skills workshops for students, parents and teachers. Dr. Ajay Kaduskar takes part in public education on diabetes. The Dr. V. S. Kaduskar Memorial Foundation, a trust for diabetes care and diabetes education in rural Nagpur district, is associated with the practice.
