Editorial and Medical Review Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Health decisions deserve reliable information. This page explains how content on this website is created, checked and kept up to date.

Who writes and reviews our content

  • Medical pages and articles are written by our doctors or by medical writers working with them.
  • Every medical page is reviewed and approved by a qualified doctor before it is published. Pages on diabetes, weight, thyroid, blood pressure and heart health are reviewed by Dr. Ajay V. Kaduskar, MD (Medicine). Pages on child and adolescent health are reviewed by Dr. Prajakta A. Kaduskar, MBBS, DCH, PGDAP, MA (Clinical Psychology).
  • Each page shows the name of the reviewer and the date it was last reviewed.

Sources we rely on

We base content on current guidance from recognised bodies such as the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), the World Health Organization and peer-reviewed medical journals. Statistics are cited with their source.

What we do not do

  • We do not publish patient testimonials, "before and after" claims or promises of results.
  • We do not name or promote medicine brands, and we do not accept sponsorship or advertising from pharmaceutical or health product companies on this website.
  • We do not describe any treatment as a cure for long-term conditions where that would be misleading.

Use of writing tools

We may use software tools, including AI-based writing assistants, to help draft or edit text. Every page is checked for accuracy and approved by our doctors before publication, and the doctors remain responsible for the medical content.

Updates and corrections

Medical pages are reviewed at least once a year, and sooner when guidelines change. If you find an error, email …. We will review it and correct it promptly, and note significant corrections on the page.
