Preventive health check-ups
Doctor-reviewed health check-ups in Nagpur: diabetes, heart, thyroid, kidney and liver screening, with a consultation on your results.

A check-up is useful only if someone reads the results with you and explains what to do next. Every check-up at Niramay Clinics ends with a doctor's consultation. You never leave with only a printed report.
How your check-up is designed
We do not offer fixed test packages, because a standard list would mean unnecessary or repeated tests for many people. Instead:
- You meet the doctor first. Your history, existing conditions, symptoms and risk factors are discussed, and a physical examination is done.
- The doctor then designs the check-up for you: only the blood tests, heart tests and scans that your situation actually needs.
- Once the results are ready, the doctor reads them with you and explains what to do next.
Tests may include blood sugar and HbA1c, cholesterol and lipid profile, kidney and liver function, thyroid tests, ECG, 2D Echo or a treadmill test, retinal photography and body composition analysis, whichever apply to you. Fees are shared when you book.
How to prepare
Fast for 10 to 12 hours before the visit (water is allowed). Take your usual medicines unless told otherwise, but bring diabetes medicines with you to take after the blood sample. Bring previous reports.
When to see a doctor
Screening is for people who feel well. If you already have symptoms - chest discomfort, unusual breathlessness, unexplained weight loss, a breast lump, blood in urine or stool, or persistent pain - do not wait for a routine check-up; book a consultation promptly.
Frequently asked questions
Usually 2 to 3 hours including the post-meal sample and consultation. Most routine reports are ready the same day.
Because every check-up is designed by the doctor, tests are chosen for your situation from the start. The doctor may suggest additional tests based on your history and examination.
It depends on your age, family history and existing conditions. A short discussion with the doctor narrows it to the tests that are actually useful for you, rather than a fixed package for everyone.
For most healthy adults, once a year is reasonable; more often if a result needs tracking or you have a condition like diabetes or hypertension. Your doctor sets the interval from your results.
