Children grow fast, and every stage brings new questions. A newborn's feeding, a toddler's first words, a ten-year-old's school stress, a fourteen-year-old's moods, a seventeen-year-old's career choices. Blooming Buds is a clinic for all of these, led by Dr. Prajakta A. Kaduskar, who is trained in child health, adolescent paediatrics and clinical psychology.
Adolescence, roughly 10 to 19 years, is a period of rapid physical, emotional and social change. It is also when many lifelong habits around food, sleep, screens and relationships are formed. We care for the body and the mind together, with parents as partners.
What we offer
- Well baby clinic: growth, development, feeding and sleep from birth
- Vaccinations for babies, children, teenagers and adults
- Adolescent physical health: growth and puberty, periods, PCOS, anaemia, weight, skin, sleep
- Teen mental health and counselling: stress, anxiety, low mood, anger, screens, bullying, self-esteem
- Psychological testing: IQ, emotional quotient (EQ) and personality assessment
- Career counselling and aptitude testing
- Workshops for schools, parents and teachers
How we work with families
- The first visit includes time with the parent and child together. With teenagers, part of the consultation is with the young person alone, so they can speak freely.
- We explain at the start what stays confidential and what will be shared. Anything that affects a young person's safety is always shared with parents, and where the law requires, with the appropriate authorities.
- Plans are practical and agreed with both the young person and the parents.
Our mission
To help adolescents and their families achieve good physical, emotional and mental wellbeing through compassionate, evidence-based healthcare, counselling, education and preventive care that support healthy lifestyles, emotional resilience, confidence and positive life choices.
One centre, one record
The advantage of a single centre is that nothing falls through the cracks. The baby who came for growth checks becomes the teenager who comes for exam stress, and the same doctor sees the full picture: growth, vaccination, periods, screens, studies and mood. Parents can usually discuss physical and emotional concerns in the same visit.

When to see a doctor
Bring your child or teenager in if you notice falling growth percentiles, early or delayed puberty changes, poor weight gain, persistent tiredness, repeated headaches, or ongoing worry, sadness or behaviour changes. Most of these deserve a calm evaluation rather than urgent worry - but they should not be ignored for months.
Frequently asked questions
From newborns to young adults: well-baby and toddler care, school-age health, the full teenage years, and guidance through the transition into adult care.
Yes, for children, teenagers and adults, following the IAP schedule. Vaccination is available at the centre as part of regular visits or as a planned visit.
Teenagers can be seen partly on their own, which often helps them speak freely. Dr. Prajakta explains at the start what stays private and what must be shared with parents for safety.
Yes. Children with disabilities and developmental concerns are welcome, and care is planned patiently with the family. Please tell us about any specific needs when you book.
